Crystal ring in silver: luminous radiance 

Origin

At the center of this ring rests a magnificent faceted aurora crystal that transforms with every movement of light. From one angle it glows with cool ocean blues. Turn it slightly and it reveals warm gold, rose, and rainbow flashes that seem to appear from nowhere. This shifting brilliance is created by a special aurora crystal coating that refracts light like a prism.

I shaped Argentinian silver in flowing protective lines to cradle the crystal like a crown. The silver curves around the stone in sweeping arcs that allow light to enter from every direction so the crystal can reveal its many personalities.

Surrounding the central prism are brilliant Swarovski crystals that echo and amplify the light, along with luminous pieces of mother of pearl that add a soft moonlike glow. Together they create a ring that feels alive with movement. The ring never appears the same twice, revealing new colors each time it turns.

Like the changing sky or the shifting light across the ocean, this piece constantly reveals another hidden dimension of beauty.
