Origin

I shaped this pendant around a striking piece of Tiger Eye whose natural inclusions immediately reminded me of a dragon resting beneath the surface. The bands of gold and deep earth tones move through the stone like ancient currents of fire and shadow, giving the impression that something powerful lives within it.

I guided flowing strands of gold-toned wire around the stone like protective coils, allowing the metal to feel almost like the curved lines of a dragon guarding its treasure. The setting does not overpower the stone but instead embraces it, letting the natural markings remain the true story.

When light touches the surface, the Tiger Eye flashes with its famous golden glow — a phenomenon known as chatoyancy — creating the illusion of movement inside the stone, as if the dragon within is slowly waking.
